Enterprise Support and Singapore Grants

Singapore enterprise grants and business support, including financing, tax, start-up, sustainability, workforce and internationalisation programmes.

Complete enterprise support overview

Singapore enterprise grants: This hub brings together the principal national support routes for Singapore businesses. It includes direct grants, government risk-sharing finance, tax support and co-investment because each affects project funding differently. Sector-specific programmes may impose additional conditions; current eligibility should always be checked against the official programme page before the company commits to a vendor or starts work.

Where a supported project involves contracts, intellectual property, employment, regulatory questions or a formal legal opinion, we coordinate with Singapore law firms whose lawyers have the relevant speciality.

EDGE is open: EDGE launched on 30 September 2026. New EDG, MRA and PSG applications closed on 29 September; existing submissions and projects continue under their approved terms. Check the current EDGE activities and their eligibility requirements before committing to a new project.

Common eligibility and timing checks

  • Whether the business is registered and operating in Singapore.
  • Whether the scheme requires at least 30% ultimate local equity.
  • Company or group turnover and employment-size limits.
  • Whether the activity, vendor, market, equipment or cost category is supportable.
  • Whether a contract, deposit, payment or project start would make the application retrospective.
  • Whether the company has the financial and management capacity to complete the project and claim correctly.

Foreign-owned companies: a Singapore registration does not automatically satisfy local-equity requirements. Tax support, Startup SG pathways, selected workforce routes, EDB incentives and final EDGE rules may be more relevant depending on the company’s ownership, activity and economic contribution.
