EDGE Singapore 2026: what is confirmed and what is still pending

A dated guide to the new Enterprise Development and Growth Scheme, the EDG, PSG and MRA transition, and the details companies must still verify.

What is confirmed

Enterprise Singapore has announced the Enterprise Development and Growth Scheme, or EDGE, for the second half of 2026. EDGE is intended to streamline the Enterprise Development Grant, Productivity Solutions Grant and Market Readiness Assistance scheme into one enterprise-support route. Enterprise Singapore’s Budget 2026 material also says the scheme will be available to Singapore businesses including non-SMEs.

What remains pending

The final launch date, operational application guidance, detailed activity limits, ownership tests, claim process and treatment of applications already submitted under EDG, PSG or MRA should be verified when the live application route opens. An announcement is not the same as an approval framework.

Can companies still use EDG, PSG and MRA?

Yes. Enterprise Singapore currently states that the three existing grants remain accessible until EDGE launches. A company with a ready project should compare the current scheme rules with the timing risk of waiting for EDGE rather than assuming the new scheme will be more favourable.

What to prepare now

  • A clear commercial problem and project objective.
  • Scope, milestones, outcomes and project ownership.
  • Supplier quotations and a defensible cost breakdown.
  • Company and group ownership, turnover and employment information.
  • Evidence that no prohibited commitment, payment or project start has occurred.
