MyICA profile reuse checks should happen before every SG Arrival Card submission. The profile-saving function can fill relevant personal information for later trips, but the traveller still needs to confirm the current passport, arrival details, Singapore stay, email address and health declaration.
ICA requires the SG Arrival Card within three days, including the day of arrival, before entry. The service is free. The card is not a visa, and successful submission does not decide whether immigration clearance or a particular visit-pass period will be granted.
Know what profile reuse can and cannot do
A saved profile reduces repeated typing. It should not become a trusted master record that nobody reviews. Passports expire, names can change, travel plans move and contact details become stale. Health answers are specific to the submission date and must reflect the traveller’s current position.

Confirm the traveller category first
The official SG Arrival Card service separates Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders from foreign visitors and In-Principle Approval holders. The information requested differs because residents submit a health declaration while foreign visitors also provide arrival information.
Residents entering through Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints are among the published exceptions. Do not copy a rule from one family member to everyone else. Record each traveller’s status and entry route for the actual trip.

Use the current passport, not the last trip
Compare the saved name, passport number, nationality, date of birth and expiry date with the physical or official digital record used for travel. A person who renewed a passport should not assume the saved profile changed with the airline booking.
For a child, the parent or coordinator should still show the details to another responsible adult where practical. The check should be quiet and factual. Avoid sending passport images through wide family chats or ordinary email when a secure shared process is available.
Make trip details match the itinerary
Confirm the arrival date, transport details and Singapore address after the booking is stable enough for submission. If the itinerary changes, review whether the declaration must be updated. Keep the submission within the official three-day window for the revised arrival date.

Treat the health declaration as current
ICA states that the electronic health declaration forms part of the SG Arrival Card and that false declarations may be prosecuted. Ask each adult traveller to review the answer. For a child or person who needs help, the responsible adult should confirm the current facts rather than reuse the previous answer automatically.
If health status changes after submission, ICA’s guidance directs travellers to the Update SGAC feature. Record the updated acknowledgement and remove the superseded version from the active travel folder without destroying the audit history.
Use an email address that someone will read
ICA sends the acknowledgement to the email declared in the SG Arrival Card. Foreign visitors also receive the electronic Visit Pass at that address after clearing immigration. Test the inbox and spam folder before travel. Do not use an inaccessible former work email merely because it remains in the saved profile.
The e-Pass contains the D/E number, visit-pass duration and last day of stay. Foreign visitors can also retrieve it through ICA using the D/E number or passport details. Permanent residents and long-term pass holders do not receive an e-Pass on arrival.
Verify the declaration after submission
Save the acknowledgement for the current trip. In MyICA Mobile, the Submitted Declarations area can show the D/E number for the relevant trip. When several submissions exist, confirm that the date and traveller match the current journey.

Complete MyICA profile reuse checks and retire old information
Limit access to the device and profile. Remove old profiles when they are no longer needed, especially on a shared phone. Keep current acknowledgements in restricted storage and do not retain extra passport copies without a reason.
For a family or business travel group, use a simple departure-day control. The coordinator reads the traveller name, passport ending, arrival date and acknowledgement date from the current record. Each adult confirms their own details and health answer. The coordinator marks a check complete without copying full passport data into an open spreadsheet. If one traveller changes flights or accommodation, reopen only that person’s declaration and decide whether an update is required. This keeps the group organised while recognising that every declaration belongs to a particular traveller and trip.
MyICA profile reuse checks turn a convenience into a controlled trip record. The file should show who checked each traveller, what changed from the last journey, which acknowledgement belongs to the current arrival and where the later e-Pass can be found.
